The Permaculture Makeover- 'Before'

The Strathcona garden that hosted the workshop had a 'permaculture backbone' from a past gardener who had experimented with permaculture principles about 15 years ago.  A flourishing rosemary bush was all that was left of a herb spiral, and the rest of the garden was overgrown with blackberries.  We even spied an old bee house under the brambles.
